Gail Rehbein
Gail Rehbein lives on Australia’s Gold Coast. Her special interest areas are creative writing, socially responsible business and outdoor travel.
Socially responsible business
Gail has a Masters degree in corporate social responsibility, professional ethics and governance as well as a Bachelor degree in Commerce. She has worked as a corporate social responsibility (CSR) consultant and trainer, an executive coach, business and career coach, management consultant, business researcher and Chartered Accountant. She lectures in corporate social responsibility at the Griffith University Business School on the Gold Coast and served as a judge for the Gold Coast City Council Mayor’s CSR Award 2008-2010.
Her writing on corporate social responsibilty has been published in the on-line Journal of Asia Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. It has also been published in print as a book chapter for educational research and as conference papers for presentations delivered in Australasia. In 2004, she was awarded National Finalist in the Prime Minister’s Corporate Social Responsibility Community Business Partnership Writing Competition.
Lifestyle topics
Gail’s writing on lifestyle topics like long board surfing, personal change and work/life balance have been published in print issues of The Noosa Magazine, Brisbane Lawyer and The Guide to Investing & Living in Queensland.
Her outdoor travels have included surfing safaris, hiking, sea-kayaking, camping, cycling as well as backpacking through South America.
